When I was a grade-school student, I was an avid baseball card collector. I could not get enough of that hobby. I remember my friends in school showing up in the morning with boxes of trading cards they had bought over the weekend and were now intent on selling for 25 cents per card. During lunch recess, students turned into collectors of baseball cards and scooped up as many trading cards as they could using all the change in their pockets. It's one of many memories I have of grade school.
I recently discovered that this industry and the intense interest from baseball card collectors have not waned.
